Rohde Nielsen A/S has contributed to the development and extension of some of the world’s largest ports and navigation channels – for example by filling caissons or by depositing millions of cubic metres of sand in the construction of new terminals.

Wherever possible, we offer ports a combination of land reclamation and maintenance, or capital dredging – to the great benefit of overall project finance.

The dredging of a multitude of sea bed types requires a flexible fleet, to which end we put together a combination of backhoes, bucket dredgers, self-propelled split barges and hopper dredgers for each specific job.
